The design and manufacturing of Matlok double tube fittings aim to provide a reliable and leak proof connection system in instruments and process pipelines. Matlok double tube fittings are made up of four precision machined components:

Working principle of Matlok tube fittings

When assembling the tube fitting, the front sleeve is pushed into the fitting body and the tube to form a main seal, and the rear sleeve produces a hinge effect inward to form a strong grip on the tube. The geometric shape of the rear sleeve helps to generate advanced engineering hinge clamp action, which can convert axial motion into radial compression of the tubing, requiring only a small assembly torque during operation
